VMotion - move users from one server to another without going off-line

VMware VMotion amazingly allows administrators to move an entire running virtual machine (and its live users) instantaneously from one server to another. The entire state of a virtual machine is a set of files stored on shared storage, and VMware’s file system allows both the source and the target Server to access these virtual machine files concurrently. The memory contents and precise execution state of a virtual machine can then be rapidly moved over the network from one hardware server to another. The virtual machine retains its network identity and connections, ensuring a seamless migration.
