Client Access Licences:
When purchasing Operating Systems or Server Software there are normally a number of Client Access licences supplied. However you will almost certainly need to purchase further licences to allow all your client computers to legally use the server software.
e-Licences:
Microsoft's preferred method of supplying Client Access Licences (CAL's). The application for the correct number of licences is made online and the license information delivered by email.
Media Kits:
It is still possible to get hold of CAL's as media kits. There is a physical delivery of the licence details via the post that the client can keep hold of as proof of purchase.
