Work Flow
The ViewWise Connector seamlessly integrates ViewWise content with Metastorm's e-Work workflow engine. Images and compound documents can then be incorporated in the workflow process.
This allows the ability to check out any ViewWise document to a workflow initiating the workflow or attaching at any given point in the workflow. This ViewWise service provides an automatic option to check into ViewWise documents that have reached the Archive stage in an eWork workflow.
Automated Check-in process
– Stand alone application for automating the check-in process (optional.)
Plug-in for ViewWise Desktop Client
– Template creation (i.e. ViewWise Document Type <-> eWork Form)
– Send a ViewWise Document to eWork (check-out.)
Manual Check-in
Submit ViewWise Documents to a Workflow
– Submit any ViewWise Index Field value to any eWork Form field, and retrieve the value from any eWork Form field during check-in.
– Submit multiple ViewWise Documents to a Map.
– Submit to different eWork Forms with-in the Map.
Integrate changes back into ViewWise upon check-in
– Update ViewWise Index Field values from different eWork Forms, field values.
– Returns the Workflow’s audit trail to a ViewWise Document in text format.
