ViewWise Desktop OnLine Client

The ViewWise Online Client is a Java® based interface that allows a user to connect to a ViewWise server to locate and retrieve images stored within a ViewWise Room. The Online Client allows a user to search, retrieve, view, convert to text, open files stored in their Native file format, and output Documents stored within a ViewWise Room.

ViewWise provides several methods to output Documents, Pages, and images stored within its system. Users with appropriate security privileges can Print, Fax, E-mail, Export, and Send to other applications. ViewWise offers OCR (Optical Character Recognition) capabilities. The OCR settings frame allows experienced users to modify settings for the OCR engine.

ViewWise File Formats

The ViewWise IDM solution stores any file format and incorporates best-in-class viewer technologies, such as Stellant's Outside In Technology, Lead Tools and Lizardtech's DjVu for the viewing of files of the specific types listed below. This integration allows ViewWise customers to view over 350 file formats, regardless of whether they have the authoring application installed or not.
