Scanning and Optical Character Recognition (OCR)

Documents can be created automatically from electronic, or scanned in forms, interpreted by a forms extraction utility, and transferred into ViewWise using the ViewWise Forms Connector.

Using the Connector, ViewWise Documents can be created containing the pages (images) and some or all of the metadata (field values) interpreted by the Forms extraction tool. The Document is then placed automatically in a user specified folder inside the ViewWise Room - making it immediately available for searching and viewing by ViewWise users.

The Connector provides the bridge to transfer extracted data and associated images to ViewWise, Integrated Document Management System.
